Jigawa varsity waives tuition for Mathematics, Physics students

The university also said the scheme was expected to encourage more students to consider Mathematics and Physics, which are regarded as important foundations for scientific research, technological innovation and several professional fields.

Prospective students who initially selected other courses or institutions but meet the admission requirements for the programmes have also been given an opportunity to benefit from the initiative.

The Registrar advised such candidates to process a change of institution and course to the Federal University of Technology, Babura through any accredited JAMB Computer-Based Test centre.

The university urged interested candidates to contact its admissions office to confirm their eligibility and obtain further information about the admission and change-of-course process.

Management said the initiative was consistent with broader efforts to strengthen STEMM education and develop a new generation of graduates capable of contributing to research, education and industry.

The university further encouraged qualified candidates to take advantage of the opportunity, noting that the tuition waiver applies to the current admission cycle.
