Florida defensive back Cormani McClain enters the 2026 college football season with his name once again attached to high expectations and uncertainty.
CBS Sports recently placed the former five-star recruit on its boom-or-bust list, reserved for players with elite potential but still have questions surrounding their consistency and production. For McClain, it reflects the broader storyline that has followed him since he started his collegiate career.
Now heading into a pivotal season, the Gators look to solidify their defense in a competitive SEC landscape.
