The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5’s Netflix Release Month Confirmed By Michael Connelly

Netflix is officially bringing back The Lincoln Lawyer for its final season in just a few months.

Following an early renewal in January, Netflix later confirmed in May 2026 that The Lincoln Lawyer will end with season 5. Based on Michael Connelly’s hit Mickey Haller book series, which includes eight novels and counting, Netflix’s adaptation debuted in May 2022 and maintained critical acclaim and viewership success throughout each season. Now, less than five years later, The Lincoln Lawyer is preparing to present its final case.

While promoting the release of his new Harry Bosch novel, The Hollow, which was released on October 27, author Michael Connelly also discussed The Lincoln Lawyer TV show during a Q&A in Spokane, Washington shared by The Spokesman-Review. After recently confirming that The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 will premiere in 2027, Connelly has now further clarified the exact month. According to the original author and executive producer of the TV series, The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 will be released on Netflix in March 2027:

With a March 2027 debut, season 5 will be arriving on Netflix just slightly over one year after the end of The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 in February 2026. Helmed by co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez, The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 is confirmed to have 10 total episodes to wrap up Mickey Haller’s thrilling story.

As confirmed by Netflix, The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 will be based on Michael Connelly’s 2023 novel Resurrection Walk, with the plot following Mickey being requested by the half-sister he never knew existed, Emi Finch, to help free a wrongfully convicted woman. As Mickey tackles the dangerous case and uncovers buried family secrets, his found family members, Lorna, Izzy, and Cisco, will simultaneously be facing grueling challenges of their own.
