The management of Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru, through the Directorate of Academic Planning, has announced a crucial adjustment to the First Semester 2025/2026 examination timetable.
According to an official internal memorandum dated May 29, 2026, the decision was made after careful consideration of widespread concerns regarding incomplete registration, particularly among newly admitted students.
Here are the key details every student needs to know:
One-Week Shift: The First Semester Examination, which was originally scheduled to commence next week on June 1, 2026, has been officially shifted forward by one week.
New Exam Window: Examinations will now take place between Monday, June 8 and Friday, June 26, 2026, for all students based on the new academic adjustments.
Lectures Continue: To maximize this newly created window, First Semester 2025/2026 lectures will continue through the upcoming week.
Lecture End Date: All official lectures will now conclude on Friday, June 5, 2026.
The school management hopes that this brief extension will provide students with the necessary room to complete their course syllabi, engage in thorough revisions, wrap up their registration processes, and participate in other academic activities aimed at boosting overall performance.
All Deans, Heads of Departments, and Examination Officers have been instructed to update and circulate the new examination timetables immediately. Students are advised to check with their respective departments to get the newly updated copy of their specific exam schedules.
