Napoli in talks to sign Lorient’s Noah Cadiou

Italian giants Napoli are in talks to sign FC Lorient midfielder Noah Cadiou (27), according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri.

Cadiou shone for Les Merlus last season. The France-born midfielder impressed with his physicality as well as his technicality on the ball. He has started both of Les Merlus’ Ligue 1 games this season under new manager Alexandre Dujeux, however, it was during Saturday night’s defeat to ESTAC Troyes that links with a move across the Alpine border emerged.

Tavolieri understands that Napoli are looking to sign Cadiou before the closure of the transfer window on Tuesday night. The Italian side have already made contact with their counterparts at Lorient. Talks are currently ongoing. It is Max Allegri who is leading the recruitment of the Guadeoupe international.

Les Merlus, under no obligation to sell the player, value the player at €9m. It is an attainable figure for a club with the wealth of Napoli.
