The fact that the first issue includes two chapters of the series, allowing for a greater look at Carl and Princess Donut, serves as an ideal introduction to this expansive story for those encountering it for the first time. At the same time, it is a release that fans of the franchise will undoubtedly want to add to their collections.

While the prospect of following the Dungeon Crawler Carl comic series on a monthly basis is exciting, fans can also check out the digital version. Dungeon Crawler Carl’s webcomic adaptation was originally released on the WEBTOON platform, where it’s currently ongoing, with new chapters released weekly until the end of its second season. The webtoon has reached 60 chapters so far, adapting the first volume of the book series.
For those who enjoy reading in physical format, a third volume of the Dungeon Crawler Carl graphic novel is also scheduled for release on March 23, 2027, and is expected to cover beyond chapter 30 of the webtoon series.
Although this adaptation significantly condenses the events of the novel, making it more accessible and fast-paced, it offers a unique way to explore the world. In addition to offering fans incredible character designs, its impressive artwork enhances the figures, and its knack for conveying humor makes it a must-read series. Nevertheless, while fans await the release of Dungeon Crawler Carl‘s ninth book, this monthly comic series is definitely something worth following in the meantime.
