While the 2026 Syracuse Orange football season is the focus right now, fans are already getting more information on what next season’s schedule looks like.
On Wednesday, Syracuse announced which ACC opponents it will play at home and on the road. The program confirmed that as part of its nine-game conference schedule, it will get five ACC teams — Boston College, Florida State, North Carolina, NC State, and Pittsburgh — in the JMA Wireless Dome.
The rest of the ACC slate includes three true road contests versus Louisville, Stanford, and Virginia Tech. The Orange are also locked into a neutral-site/fourth road game in Canada to open the 2027 campaign.

The 2027 season will be the first in which all ACC members will play under a new schedule format.
As part of the change, all but one ACC team will have nine conference games and an additional 10th, non-conference game against a Power Four opponent. The ACC is one of two P4 conferences that are requiring this schedule structure.
Syracuse has previously confirmed road game dates for two of those non-con slots: Penn State and UConn. Previous reporting suggests Fordham would be the Orange’s final opponent of their 12-game schedule in 2027.
The announcement did not include game dates. The Orange will open the 2027 season in Week 0 against Wake Forest at BMO Field in Toronto.
