<p>Israel&#8217;s far-right national security minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, has denounced the deal between the United States and Iran to end the war in West Asia, including in Lebanon.</p>
<p>Ben Gvir stated this on his Telegram channel on Monday, insisting that Israel was not bound by it.</p>
<p>&#8220;Trump&#8217;s agreement does not bind us; we are not party to this agreement. It does not safeguard our security,&#8221; Ben Gvir said.</p>
<p>&#8220;We must not settle for anything less than the dismantling of Hezbollah,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>Recall that United States President Donald Trump had earlier announced that a deal had been reached to end their war and &#8220;reopen the Strait of Hormuz&#8221;, a preliminary pact that sent oil prices falling but leaves the fate of Tehran&#8217;s nuclear program to further negotiations.</p>
<p>Also, Ianian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirmed in a televised interview that the memorandum between Tehran and Washington had been finalized.</p>
