Troy came out of the losers bracket of the Gainesville Regional and beat Florida twice to claim the regional title as the No. 3 team. Little Rock advanced out of the Hattiesburg Regional as the four-seed, sweeping through the regional by beating Southern Miss and Jax State twice.
The Super Regional starts at 4 p.m. CT Friday on ESPNU and Saturday’s matchup is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN2. The time for the if-needed Sunday matchup is TBD.

How Troy baseball won Gainesville Regional in magical week
Meade came to Troy from South Carolina where he spent three seasons as the pitching coach. He also has coached at Michigan State, Middle Tennessee State and Eastern Illinois. It was with Eastern Illinois that he got his start as a graduate assistant and earned his master’s degree.
Meade was a key piece of Louisville’s run to the College World Series in 2007. He won nine games as a left-handed pitcher. That season, he held batters to a .247 average during the run. According to his Troy bio, he made the final out against Mississippi State that year.
The Trojans have made the super regional for the first time in program history this season under Meade. It is the second appearance for the Trojans in the NCAA Tournament under Meade. He won 32 games his first season with Troy, the most since 2019. He won 40 games in 2023 and at least 36 in every year since.
