Leeds United defender Gabriel Gudmundsson has been named in Graham Potter’s Sweden squad for the upcoming September/October international break.
The 27-year-old, who was born in Malmö, has won 28 caps for his country and most recently featured in all four of Sweden’s matches as they reached the Round of 32 at the World Cup this summer.
Potter’s side will play four matches across a 15-day training camp, beginning with two fixtures on home soil in Solna.
Sweden will face Romania on Friday 25 September, with kick-off at 7:45pm UK time, before taking on Poland on Monday 28 September at 7.45pm.
The international break will then continue with two away fixtures, as Sweden face Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday 2 October, with kick-off at 7.45pm, before heading to Romania on Monday 5 October for a 7.45pm start.
Gudmundsson has made three appearances for Leeds across all competitions so far this season, helping Daniel Farke’s side move up to third in the Premier League.
