Who isn't playing for Oregon vs. Boise State? See the injury report

Practices have been closed at Oregon fall camp, and coach Dan Lanning is typically tight lipped when it comes to giving updates on players on his team who are injured.

Even with the silence, it appears as though the preseason No. 2 Ducks will be relatively healthy for their 12:30 p.m. season opener Sept. 5 against Boise State at Autzen Stadium.

The Big Ten Conference has changed its mandate pertaining to availability reports this season.

Previously, teams had to submit a list of unavailable players two hours prior to kickoff each week. This season, teams don’t have to do that for nonconference games. During conference games, there will be four availability updates each week starting three days before the game and one each subsequent day. The last will come on game day two hours before kickoff.

That means no availability report this week when the Ducks play the nonconference Broncos of the Pac-12.

Until then, here’s a look at what has been gleaned from Lanning the past five weeks.

Dillon Gresham – The junior wide receiver isn’t expected to play any time soon, if ever again, after a season-ending neck injury in August 2025. While still on the roster, Lanning has said Gresham’s football future remains in doubt.

“There’s not really a clear indication that Dillon’s going to be able to help us here in the future,” Lanning said Aug. 6. “He’ll be a part of our team. But from a medical standpoint, I don’t know if that’s clear that he’d be able to.”

Dave Iuli – The fifth-year right guard, who started all 15 games in 2025, missed the spring with a torn triceps and was limited early in fall camp. Lanning said Monday that Iuli has “been able to practice for us all week. I feel comfortable that he could play.”

Brayden Platt – Lanning announced after the first week of fall camp that the junior inside linebacker was going to miss time with an undisclosed injury and wouldn’t put a timetable on his return.
