It’s Hall of Fame induction season in Aggieland, and on Monday, the Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association officially announced its 2026 class for the Texas A&M University Athletic Hall of Fame. Eight former student‑athletes and coaches earned the honor, representing a wide range of sports and football was highlighted by two beloved figures who left unmistakable marks on the program.
Myles Garrett and Terry Price were selected as this year’s football inductees, and both choices feel as inevitable as they are well deserved.
Garrett, one of the most dominant defensive ends in college football history, piled up national awards during his three seasons in College Station before becoming the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. His combination of power, speed, and production made him a generational talent at A&M, and he has only continued that trajectory in the NFL, where he remains one of the league’s most feared pass rushers.
Terry Price’s legacy runs even deeper. A four‑year letterman and All‑Southwest Conference selection during his playing days, Price later became one of the most influential staff members in modern Aggie football history. His impact stretched far beyond the defensive line room. He was a connector, a mentor, a culture‑builder, and one of the most respected recruiters in the nation. Few individuals embodied the spirit of Texas A&M more authentically than TP.
