LeBron James missing the Philadelphia 76ers’ recent game has one LA Clippers fan over the moon.
The Philadelphia 76ers have continued their phenomenal start to the 2026-27 NBA season with a 3-0 record after their most recent win against the Milwaukee Bucks.
However, LeBron James played no role in the 127-116 win, as the King was sidelined due to load management.
The 76ers winning without James has one Los Angeles Clippers fan claiming that the team should move him to the bench.
LA Clippers fan explains why LeBron James should become the sixth man for the Philadelphia 76ers
At 41 years old, James is averaging 15.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game for the 76ers. While his numbers are solid, James is shooting a terrible 37.0% from the field and 14.3% from deep.
Keeping that in mind, and the 76ers maintaining their form with James on the sidelines, X user ‘Jacobtheclipper’ made a surprising demand from head coach Nick Nurse.
“I told y’all Bron should be the 6th man on this team. You guys laughed at me. The first unit plays way better with him off the court,” he wrote on X.
The Clippers fan added, “VJ gets pushed into the corner and gets less opportunity when old man is in. The Sixers looked like a championship team with Bron in street clothes.”
To be fair, it’s still too early in the season to make a decision about James’ role on the 76ers. If staying on the bench would help the team, James would likely agree to this.
After all, fans already saw him take a backseat to Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves during his final season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
