John Grisham has written over 50 major novels in his acclaimed writing career, but a strong case can be made that the most famous book of his career is The Rainmaker. The Rainmaker was published back in 1995, and it didn’t take long for the book to get a feature film adaptation with Matt Damon at the helm. Damon stars alongside Danny DeVito in the Francis Ford Coppola-directed film, which is now available to stream on Paramount+. Nearly 30 years after The Rainmaker grossed nearly $50 million at the global box office, USA Network has a new take on Rudy Baylor’s story starring Milo Callaghan in the titular role. Starring opposite him in the series is John Slattery, who is best known for his role as Roger Sterling in Mad Men and also for playing an older Howard Stark in the MCU.
