Jaylen Brown’s social media move adds fuel to frustration rumors

One of the biggest names that teams are closely monitoring ahead of the official start of NBA free agency is Jaylen Brown‘s. He continues to be linked to several teams as the Boston Celtics star could be traded to another franchise soon.

The 29-year-old further fueled the trade speculations with his latest Instagram activity. He liked a fan’s comment about Boston moving him to a city that respects him.

“Man as a person who can’t stand the Celtics I hope they do him right by trading him to a city who respects him,” the fan wrote.

Boston will reportedly only trade him for a haul of first-round picks. The reported asking price is four, which some believe is too much. However, there have been some deals involving even more picks, and stranger things have happened in the NBA.

Brown entered the league as the No. 3 pick in 2016. Since then, he has won one championship, earned five All-Star nods, one Finals MVP and two All-NBA team selections. The Celtics rewarded him with a five-year contract extension worth up to $304 million in 2023. He and Jayson Tatum have spearheaded the team’s charge, forming arguably a Top 5 duo in the league.

The California Golden Bears product stands out as one of the best swingmen in the NBA today. His potential move could reshape the league’s landscape and boost the championship chances of the next team he’ll play for.
