The two-time NBA champion J.R. Smith was arrested on a family violence charge, according to an exclusive report from TMZ. Hunt County jail records listed the charge as assault causing bodily injury family violence.

He remained in the Hunt County Detention Center at the time of the report. Jail records showed that no bond had been set, and TMZ published his mug shot following the booking.
