It was a rough Monday night for the Philadelphia Eagles and superfan podcaster Gillie da King. The Eagles put up an embarrassing offensive performance against the Chicago Bears and were on the wrong end of a 27-7 shellacking courtesy of 38-year-old third-string quarterback Case Keenum.
After the game, Gillie went on an expletive-filled rant about the Eagles’ shocking performance, before revealing that he was going to need to pay up on a bet.
Before Monday night’s game, Gillie shared a FaceTime call with comedian Mojo Brookzz, who is a proud Bears fan, and the two made a friendly wager. If the Eagles won, Mojo would have to wear a backward Kangol hat and Jalen Hurts jersey, while filming himself saying Hurts’ quote: “I had a purpose before everybody had an opinion.”
If the Bears won, Gillie had to paint his nails and wear a Caleb Williams jersey, while performing his signature touchdown celebration. Thanks to Keenum’s heroics, Gillie had to break out the nail polish, and he wasted no time paying up on his bet Tuesday morning.

Gillie da King Pays Up On Eagles-Bears Bet
“See, one thing about me… Man of my word. I got n—- that still owe me money from Super Bowls from two years ago. I ain’t gonna say nobody’s name, but you know who you is, man,” Gillie said in a video on Instagram. “Shoot me that $5,000, man. When you make a bet, pay up, man.
“I bet Mojo Brookzz that I would do this. I lost, and as a man, I got a Caleb Williams jersey on. And y’all can see the rest. You know what I mean?”
But you didn’t think Gillie would go down without taking a shot, right? Because he did exactly that.
Approximately one hour after paying up on his bet, Gillie followed through with another video mocking Caleb Williams’ overreaction to his hamstring injury that was ruthlessly mocked online. Gillie lay on the hood of his car with a towel over his head in full pads while crying to the camera. It looks like he may have gotten the last laugh.
