Our countdown to the start of the 2026 Kentucky Wildcats football season is underway, and we8217;re taking a look at the players who make up the roster along the way. We are now 91 days away from opening day, and today, we’ll examine No. 91 williams/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Jaden Williams.
Williams is a 6’4, 290 lb defensive lineman originally out of California. He was a three-star recruit out of high school who 247Sports ranked as the No. 205 defensive lineman in the 2022 class. He would wind up committing to Wyoming.
After redshirting as a freshman, he began to work his way into the rotation. He got his first career sack in 2023, then, as a sophomore, he broke out. Williams player in 12 games, and was credited with 20 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, and half a sack. Then, after the season, he transferred to Kentucky.
Last season, for the Wildcats, he played in nine games and recorded 6 tackles and half a sack. He’ll certainly be in the rotation in 2026 as well. It’s a deep defensive line overall, and Williams will hope to make it even better next year.
