Some might say a horror movie meme is more apt for Halloween night as whatever happens to Georgia Tech Football tonight will likely be a horrifying sight. The Jackets are 2-5 on the season and facing Pitt tonight, who is 5-3 and without their starting quarterback, Mason Heintschel.
Since starting 5-0, Pitt is 0-3 with losses against North Carolina, Boston College, and Miami. 5th year Holden Gernier has taken most of the snaps in Heintschel’s absence, throwing for 268 yards and a touchdown at 0.08 EPA/play in the loss to Miami.
Even with the three straight losses, the Panthers are 7.5 point favorites at home. Knowing Tech is still ridiculously injured on the defensive side of the ball, it makes sense.
Oh, and Tech is breaking out the black pants for a third game this season. A season of continually befuddling sights continues…
