Behind the Indianapolis Colts’ expected starting five on the offensive line is a lot of inexperience, and with that come unknowns.
From left to right, the projected starting five for the Colts consists of Bernhard Raimann, Quenton Nelson, Tanor Bortolini, Matt Goncalves, and Jalen Travis. Although Travis is relatively inexperienced himself, collectively, the Colts should again have a strong offensive line unit.
However, if the Colts have to turn to any of their players coming off the bench, it remains to be seen whether or not they could weather the absence of one of their starters.

Tucker and Freeland are the only two with significant playing time — and of Freeland’s total snaps, 723 of them came in 2023.
Depth-wise, the Colts seem to be fairly well-equipped at guard between Tucker and Farmer, who the team is very bullish on. However, the depth at center and tackle remain question marks.
While the free agent market is picked over at this point, GM Chris Ballard could easily justify making an addition along the offensive line, if nothing more than to provide some veteran stability behind the starters.
