Jacob Misiorowski injury; Brewers pitcher exits Game 5 in sixth inning

Milwaukee Brewers star pitcher Jacob Misiorowski left Game 5 of the World Series on Wednesday night, Oct. 28, with a right calf cramp.

The Brewers held a 4-0 lead when he exited with two outs in the sixth inning.

He received a standing ovation from the Brewers fans at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, and at the watch party at American Family Field in Milwaukee.

Misiorowski pitched 5⅔ innings, his longest outing of the postseason, allowing only two hits with two strikeouts and one walk.

Before Misiorowski departed, the likely National League Cy Young Award winner had issues with the Tropicana Field mound.
