The Kansas City Chiefs gained momentum in their preseason matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when defensive lineman Felix Anudike-Uzomah sacked quarterback Jake Browning early in the first quarter.
Anudike-Uzomah, who joined the Chiefs as a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, is competing for a depth role on Kansas City’s front four, and may have helped his cause by making the game-changing play.

While Kansas City didn’t manage to score during the first quarter of this preseason showdown, Anudike-Uzomah’s terrific performance gave the Chiefs an early edge over Tampa Bay in the stat sheet.
