ADCC Trialsseason has already begun, with thousands of talented grapplers from various continents competing for slots at the ADCC 2026 World Championships.
While the last few iterations have been hosted in the US, the prestigious biennial grappling event happens at the Tauron Arena in Krakow, Poland this time around. ADCC 2026 happens on September 12-13, 2026, and with the first few sets of invites already handed out, it’s worth tracking the confirmed competitors to the highly anticipated event.
ADCC World Championships are typically headlined by the reigning “Super Fight” champion defending their belt against the previous absolute tournament winner. That should be Gordon Ryan vs. ADCC 2024 double gold medalistKaynan Duarte, but with Ryan seemingly retired, the ADCC 2026 headliner still appears to be up in the air, as of this writing.
Below is the current fight card and full list of competitors that have a slot booked for ADCC 2026. We will be constantly updating this post every time an athlete gets confirmed for the event.

December 7, 2025: Added 5 new invites from the ADCC Asia & Oceania Trials winners. 15 grapplers now confirmed for ADCC 2026.
February 5, 2026: All eight reigning ADCC champions are confirmed to be invited for ADCC 2026.
February 16, 2026: Added the 8 winners from the 2nd ADCC EMEA Trials.
March 13, 2026: Fabricio Andrey and Mateusz Gamrot have both been invited to ADCC 2026 at 66 kg and 77 kg, respectively.
March 15, 2026: Added the 5 winners from the 1st ADCC South American Trials.
March 19, 2026: Added Adam Wardzinski, who has been invited at -99 kg.
March 22, 2026: Added the 8 winners from the 2nd ADCC South American Trials.
April 17, 2026: Added the two most recent invites handed out to Polaris champ Mateusz Szczecinski at 77 kg, and returning BJJ legend Gabi Garcia for the women’s over 65 kg division.
April 20, 2026: Added the 8 winners from the ADCC West Coast Trials.
July 1, 2026: The full ADCC 2026 fight card has been revealed, and with Gordon Ryan retired, the main event super-fight is now between the last two ADCC absolute champions in Kaynan Duarte vs. Yuri Simoes. There are also a few notable absences such as reigning ADCC champs Mica Galvao, Diogo Reis and Giancarlo Bodoni. None of the UFC BJJ champions are joining either.
July 21, 2026: ADCC has (finally) removed Izaak Michell, who is wanted by authorities for sexual assault. Adele Fornarino is also out, soon after news of her booking in a UFC BJJ flyweight tournament. They will be replaced by Taylor Pearman and Valerie Hamilton, respectively.
August 21, 2026: ADCC updated their list a few days ago, with the removal of the likes of another reigning champ in Rafaela Guedes, plus BJJ stars Jacob Rodriguez and Josh Cisneros. No reason was initially given, but ‘Jay Rod’ has now been revealed to have pulled out of ADCC 2026 to compete at UFC BJJ 11.
Reportedly replacing Guedes is decorated Gabi Pessanha, who will now look for a rare Super Grand Slam title after already winning every major IBJJF event in the gi. It also begs the question, why was the 12-time world champ not one of the first people they invited to begin with. There are now two slots to fill at 66 kg and 88 kg, respectively.
ADCC 2026 happens on September 12-13, 2026, in Krakow, Poland.
Broadcast details and start times have yet to be revealed, but ADCC 2026 is expected to be streamed live on FloGrappling, with the earlier portions of the event likely streamed live for free on YouTube. We will update this section once more details become available.
