The Indianapolis Colts are bringing the power of one of their most recognizable gameday traditions to their new “Anvil Strike” NFL Rivalries jersey, which goes on sale Tuesday, September 1.

Indianapolis’ Rivalries uniform is inspired by the strength and resilience represented by the team’s anvil, beginning with a dark anthracite “Anvil Steel” jersey and a metallic blue helmet with a high-shine finish. Reflective accents throughout the uniform are designed to resemble the sparks created by an anvil strike, while angled shoulder stripes provide a new interpretation of the Colts’ traditional striping. The jersey also incorporates a silver horseshoe into the design for the first time in franchise history.

Additional details include the Colts’ classic number style, “For The Shoe” inside the collar and an “INDY” wordmark on the front of the helmet as a tribute to Indianapolis. Fans can purchase the new Rivalries collection beginning Tuesday before the Colts debut the complete Anvil Strike uniform on September 27 at Lucas Oil Stadium against the AFC South rival Houston Texans.
