When is FSU football vs Louisville? Time, date, TV, prediction for Week 6 game

Florida State football is at a unique crossroads for the 2026 season, and beyond, as it prepares for its ACC game against Louisville on Oct. 10.

FSU (3-2, 1-1 in ACC) steamrolled Virginia, 38-7, on Oct. 3 to earn its first conference victory. But one of the final hurdles before Mike Norvell’s program is the road. The Seminoles have not won away from Doak Campbell since November 2023 during its undefeated regular season.

This week’s challenge is Louisville (2-3, 1-2), which has dropped its last two games. But, the losing skid may be a bit deceiving — the Cardinals lost to Wake Forest, 30-27, and at NC State, 31-28. Teams have had their way against Louisville’s defense, which has given up 29.2 points per game, tied for 112th in the nation.

Here’s when the Seminoles and Cardinals square off this week.

football schedule: FSU’s next game

FSU visits Louisville on Friday in their Week 5 game. The game will air on ESPN with streaming options including Fubo, which offers a free trial for new subscribers.

The Seminoles and Cardinals kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky. Mike Monaco (play-by-play) and Jordan Rodgers (analyst) are scheduled to be on the call.

While the Cardinals’ defense seems porous, especially against the run (FSU’s specialty), the offense is just that potent. Louisville has the second-best scoring average in the ACC, trailing only Miami. Meanwhile, FSU’s Jekyll and Hyde routine has a chance to keep up the good doctor routine. If the Seminoles can control the tempo with their rushing attack, it should come down to the last few minutes.

Prediction: Louisville 30, FSU 27
