Nuno Espirito Santo said his West Ham side are still building momentum after their win over Championship leaders Swansea City.
The Hammers moved up to second in the league, just a point behind Swansea, after a 1-0 victory on Saturday.
Divine Mukasa was the match-winner for West Ham, slamming in from near the penalty spot after a clever pass from Mohamadou Kante.
It was a tight contest, with the Hammers edging the expected goals (xG) battle 1.2 to 1.0, though Swansea failed to get any of their 11 attempts on target.
Swansea’s main threat came from set-pieces, with such situations responsible for 0.9 of their xG, but Nuno was pleased with what he saw from West Ham.
“I think the players did a very good job. Overall, a very good performance, organised, creating chances, also we had luck in moments,” Nuno told BBC Radio London.

“Swansea are a very good team; they are fast, dynamic, it’s not easy to control them, but overall I think we were organised and caused a lot of problems too.
“It was a very entertaining game, very intense; it was a nice football match.
“There were some amazing saves, maybe because of my past [as a goalkeeper] I always credit them, but they were some amazing saves [from Lawrence Vigouroux].
“I think we are building momentum. The table is important but more important is how we keep improving. I still believe there are a lot of things we should have done better.”
Elsewhere in the Championship, Middlesbrough failed to go top after being held to a 2-2 draw with Cardiff City.
Boro did find themselves 2-0 down at half-time, but Tommy Conway and Will Lankshear scored after the break to salvage a draw.
