University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Postgraduate Admission form, 2026/27

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Postgraduate Programme of Master in Nursing Science with Specialties for the 2026/2027 Academic Session as indicated below:

General Admission Requirements: –

Applicants seeking admission into postgraduate programmes must possess a minimum of five

(5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained at not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, and one sitting only from NABTEB

Arears of Specialization: –

• Accident and Emergency Nursing
• Nephrology Nursing
• Ophthalmic Nursing
• Paediatric Nursing

Applicants seeking admission into the master’s degree programme must meet the following criteria:

1. A minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) in the Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree
2. All applicants must request their former Universities to forward academic transcript of their first degree (Official Copy) directly to the office of the College Secretary, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Schools’ Complex Amilegbe, Ilorin.
3. Three (3) referees
4. NYSC Exemption, Exclusion or Discharge Certificate
5. Council Certificate of any of the 4 areas of specialization (if available)

Duration of Programme:

Master’s Degree Programme is a minimum of three (3) Semesters and a maximum of six (6) Semesters.

Method of Application

Applicants are to proceed to UITH website @ www.uithilorin.org.ng to fill the application form and make payment of N 20, 0000 through the Remita platform only into UITH GENERAL PURPOSE ACCOUNT.  To make the payment kindly follow the steps bellow:

• Go to remita.net
• Click on Pay FGN and State TSA
• Select and click FGN Federal Government of Nigeria
• Type University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital on whom do you want to pay
• Select UITH GENERAL PURPOSE on Name of Service/Purpose
• Fill in all other information and make your payment.

After making the payment, applicant can now proceed to complete the application process. All payment receipt must be submitted to the Bursary Unit for verification of payment.

Please note that cash payment or transfer to individual accounts are not allowed.

• After payment is made through the Remita Platform, you can now proceed with your registration by filling the online SPBN FORM with the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number generated with the payment made.
• Click APPLY NOW below, then it will redirect to the interface where you will be asked to enter a VALID personal E-mail address.
• A confirmation link will be sent to the E-mail you provided during the E-mail registration.
• Login into your E-mail account by opening a new Tab in the same browser already opened.
• Click on the link sent to your E-mail by noreply@uithilorin.
• The PBN application form will be made available for you to fill and submit.
• Select the school in the drop down menu you wish to apply for.
• Note:On the sponsor details form fields you are expected to get the scanned signature of sponsor in jpeg or png or jpg format for upload.
• Note: Each candidate is required to upload THREE TYPED AND SCANNED REFEREES, WITH THE REFEREES LETTER HEADED PAPER in jpeg or png or jpg format.
• Fill every other field on the form as required.
• After submission wait for 2 seconds as you will be directed to print or download the filled form.

NOTE: if you do not see your printout, it means your form was not successfully submitted, so you have to refill the form
