UITH School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology ND & HND Application form, 2026/27

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme, (full-time) of the School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology for the 2026/2027 session.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA(ND) PROGRAMME

The minimum entry requirements into the national diploma in Orthopaedic Cast Technology programme are:

• Five (5) credit passes in WAEC, SSCE, NECO OR GCE, O LEVEL, at no more than two sittings and NABTEB one (1) sitting.
• The subject combination must include: English language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and two other subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, Food and Nutrition/Home Management, Agricultural Science, Geography, Technical drawing
• Prospective students that did not choose our school during the last JAMB are expected to do a change of course and institution to School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology (SOCT) University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital
• Applicants must be 16 years old and above before applyying for this proramme. Applicants that will not be 16 years old by 31st September, 2026 will not be consifdered for admission.
• Please note that ONLY THOSE THAT PICKED SCHOOL OF ORTOPAEDIC CAST TECHNOLOY, UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN TEACHING HOSPITAL as the FIRST CHOICE will be considerred.
• Applicants must come with the original JAMB result printout/change of Institution/course when coming for the entrance examination/screening

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) Programme

• Five (5) credit passes in WAEC, SSCE, NECO OR GCE, O LEVEL, at no more than two sittings and NABTEB one (1) sitting.
• The subject combination must include: English language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and two other subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, Food and Nutrition/Home Management, Agricultural Science, Geography, Technical drawing
• Minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma in Orthopaedic Cast Technology IN ANY ACCREDITED INSTITUTION
• 1-year Industrial Training letter (letter of evidence from a recognized hospital).
• Prospective students are expected to have a JAMB admission Letter for their National Diploma in ORTHOPEADIC CAST TECHNOLOGY
• Letter of sponsorship (Applicable to staff)
