UFC Baku live results, highlights and play-by-play

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is live TODAY (Sat., June 27, 2026)with UFC Baku, streaming live online via Paramount+. The event happens inside Baku Crystal Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan.

UFC is back out on the road this week for its second trip to the Azerbaijan capital of Baku (and its second juicy site fee from that small nation). The fight card is tailored specifically for their patrons, as you’d expect.

UFC Baku’s main event is Rafael Fiziev vs. Manuel Torres. Fiziev was born in Kazakhstan, moved to Kyrgyzstan and now trains in Thailand (and Florida). Though, he proudly carries the flag of Azerbaijan and is much beloved in Baku. Torres, meanwhile, travels to Eurasia from Mexico, looking to add Fiziev’s name to his impressive list of first round knockout victims.

The co-main is a funky match-up between Michel Pereira vs. Shara Magomedov. These two have lots of highlights to their names. They also have a few head-scratching moments, too. Both are coming off wins here, but both also need to do a lot more to become factors in the Middleweight division.

Rounding out the main card is Nazim Sadykhov vs. Matheus Camilo, Asu Almabayev vs. Charles Johnson, Brunno Ferreira vs. Ikram Aliskerov and Abus Magomedov vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk.

The “Prelims” are headlined by Farman Hasanov vs. Eric Nolan. The “Prelims” are also home to top prospect Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev. He fights Julius Walker. Nursulton Ruziboev vs. Andrey Pulyaev should also be a good scrap on the undercard.

Round1: Aliskerob led the dance in this round and Ferreira struggled to get past his big reach. Aliskerov’s best shot was a jump knee, which he used to then transition to a takedown. He held Ferreira down for some time, but didn’t do much damage. Still, the round was his.

10-9 Alikskerov

Round 2: Aliskerov continued to have the better success on the feet, stinging Ferreira with his long punches and landing another nice knee. Aliskerov was also able to use his strikes to set up another takedown. Again, he enjoyed lots of time on top, but didn’t do much damage. Ferreira threatened with submissions from the bottom, including a calf slicer, but that wasn’t enough to take the round.

20-18 Aliskerov

Round 3: Ferreira landed some good early offense on the tired Aliskerov. But Aliskerov wasn’t too tired to land a takedown. Once he got that, Ferreira looked a little demoralized and he wasn’t able to do much with Aliskerov on his back, in a body triangle, landing punches to the side of his head.

Round 1: There was a lot of pawing and pacing to start this bout with Oleksiejczuk trying to walk down Magomedov. Magomedov landed a big knee in the clinch. After that, while separated, Oleksiejczuk walked into a huge elbow strike. That put him down to a knee. Magomedov then swarmed on him and latched on a iron-clad guillotine that put Oleksiejczuk to sleep. Bit of a late release there from Magomedov.

Farman Hasanov vs. Eric Nolan: Hasanov’s smothering and relentless wrestling game got him the win here. He took Nolan down nine times in the first round. He was awfully gassed in the second, but Nolan wasn’t very fresh either. That allowed Hasanov to stay out of danger and then muscle through a few more big takedowns on route to the lopsided victory.

Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev vs. Julius Walker: The legend of Yakhyaev grows. He drops Walker with the first punch his threw for the sub-ten second TKO win. This man needs a bigger challenge.

Nursulton Ruziboev vs. Andrey Pulyaev: Ruziboev didn’t waste much time here. He got an early take down and quickly took the back. He focused on the rear naked choke and, after a few adjustments, was able to put Pulyaev to sleep!

Kaan Ofli vs. Javier Reyes: Ofli did well to disguise his reach disadvantage in this fight. He was able to get past Reyes’ longer arms and land the better shots in the exchanges. He eventually managed to drop Reyes with a short right hook. He then got on top, secured full mount and the got the arm triangle.

Daniil Donchenko vs. Theodor Berggren: Donchenko continued to look like a very exciting Welterweight prospect here. He flowed and spammed Berggren with punches in the manner we’re starting to get used to. It all proved too much for the Octagon newcomer. Donchenko hurt him a few times in the first two rounds, but then put him down with a huge head kick.

Bekzat Almakhan vs. Jean Matsumoto: Almakhan showed off his power in the first round, dropping Matsumoto. Matsumoto recovered well, though, and took the second and third rounds thanks to his perfect timed takedowns (as well as some nice counter punching). He managed to stay in the fight despite a very nasty cut being opened up over his eye in the second round.

Tahir Abdullayev vs. Jefferson Nascimento: Nothing happened in the first round of this fight, much to the chagrin of the crowd and, to be fair, Abdullayev. In the second round Adullayev came forwards, but walked into big counter shots from Nascimento. In the third round, they actually started fighting. Adullayev got a takedown and landed some big ground and pound. After Abdullayev landed some big shots the referee stepped in with an absurd early stoppage for the hometown fighter.
