The U.S. Women8217;s Open has moved to the weekend with 58 of the 156 that started the week having made the cut.
Saturday’s third round at Riviera Country Club will be Moving Day, indeed, but if you’re looking ahead to who might be the winner Sunday, think about these numbers:
31 of the last 40 U.S. Women’s Open champions have been in the top-10 after 36 holes.
21 of the last 22 @LPGA major winners have been within 5 of the lead after 36 holes.

Ruoning Yin and Alison Lee lead at 4 under while there are six players at 3 under, including former U.S. Women’s Open winner In Gee Chun.
Nelly Korda closed strong and is at 2 under, one of four golfers in a cluster tied for ninth. Korda had the round of the day on Friday with her 4-under 67.
After two rounds of split tees, all golfers will go off the first tee on Saturday.
