The Polytechnic, Ibadan Part-Time ND and HND Programmes for 2026/2027 Session

Prospective candidates can apply for courses within the following academic departments:

Faculty of Science

Computer Science, Science Laboratory Technology, Geology Technology, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics with Electronics, Applied Chemistry, Library and Information Science, Biology/Microbiology, Food Science Technology, and Pharmaceutical Technology.

Faculty of Engineering

Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.

Faculty of Business and Communication Studies

Public Administration, Business Administration, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Office Technology and Management, Music Technology, Marketing, Mass Communication, and Local Government and Development Studies.

Faculty of Financial Management Studies

Accountancy, Insurance, Cooperative Economics and Management, Banking and Finance, and Taxation.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• O’Level Results: Must possess at least five (5) credit passes in WASSCE, SSCE, GCE, NABTEB, NECO, or equivalent.
• Core Subjects: Credits must include English Language, Mathematics, and three (3) other relevant subjects.
• Sittings: These credits must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
• HND Applicants: Candidates applying for Higher National Diploma must also possess a National Diploma (ND) from a recognized institution.
