Caitlin Clark’s injury status
Clark missed Thursday’s game against the Phoenix Mercury. It was the second night of a back-to-back set, and Indiana opted to rest her due to back issues. She also saw limited action on Wednesday versus the Los Angeles Sparks, playing 16 minutes.
The Fever are taking a cautious approach on their superstar to preserve her for the playoffs. Clark missed the entire postseason last year due to different injuries, and the team wants to make sure that doesn’t happen again. She will likely continue being in a minutes restriction until her back fully heals. Indiana will have a four-game homestand after Sunday’s fixture.
