As Philadelphia 76ers big man Adem Bona prepares for his third season in the league, the No. 41 pick of the 2024 NBA draft will have some competition to be the backup to Joel Embiid.
The Sixers brought in Ariel Hukporti early in free agency and he and Bona figure to battle it out for the right to be the No. 2 center on the depth chart. Bona held it down admirably in the 2025-26 season as he averaged 4.8 points and 4.3 rebounds along with 1.2 blocks in 71 games.
As Bona prepares for the challenges to come, the big man has been working hard to make sure he keeps his rotation spot. He posted a video on his Instagram of his summer workouts, which included time in the gym and at the beach as he tries different methods. He also included footage of him working on his 3-point shot.
