The New York Knicks played one of the worst halves you’ll ever see in an NBA game, let alone an NBA Finals game with the San Antonio Spurs pushing for a 2-2 series tie. And then they played an unreal second half, capped off by a play that will go down as an all-time bucket.
With the Knicks down one and with the seconds ticking down, Jalen Brunson took a very, very long three that bounced off the front rim. OG Anunoby ran toward the hoop with no one boxing him out… and he tipped in the ball with 1.2 second left on the clock.
It was a miracle, completing a 29-point comeback and giving the Knicks a 3-1 lead heading back to San Antonio on Saturday.
