The Rams landed in Melbourne at 7 a.m. local time ahead of their season opener against the 49ers.
They left Tuesday night PT and flew the nearly 8,000 miles in 16 hours.
The game kicks off at 8:35 p.m. ET on Thursday, which is 10:35 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, in Melbourne. Thus, the Rams landed roughly 28 hours before kickoff.
The NFL posted video of their arrival, with coach Sean McVay and wide receiver Puka Nacua among those walking down the jetway.
Unlike the 49ers, who landed in Melbourne almost a week ago, the Rams chose to stay on Pacific Time. They will go to sleep in the late afternoon Melbourne time, wake up in the middle of the night and play the game on Friday morning before heading straight back to Los Angeles afterward.
