Power Rangers may not be as popular as it once was as a franchise, but it maintains a dedicated audience of fans across the world, many of whom grew up watching their adventures. It also now carries with it a certain nostalgia for that same bunch of people, and that could be the foundation it needs to be thrust back into the mainstream once again.
In the meantime, there are still plenty of releases on the way that are attached to Power Rangers in one form or another. Now, the latest of those projects has been confirmed, and it really could prove to be a great way to spend some time with friends (particularly if you count yourself as a child of the 1990s).
Over on their official website, game manufacturer Renegade Game Studios confirmed the upcoming release of their latest effort Power Rangers Impossible Odds. The company have become well-known in recent years for their excellent officially licensed releases across a wide variety of genres, and if they can replicate that again, it could be the best Power Rangers game we have seen for a long time.
In sharing a little about what fans can expect from the game, Renegade posted the following description:
“The Earth is under threat again. Team up with your friends and morph into mighty Power Rangers before it’s too late! You’ll have to work together and use your Ranger powers effectively if you’re going to save the world from the Putties and defeat their monstrous Boss!
“Power Rangers: Impossible Odds is a cooperative dice game that puts the players in the role of the famous Power Rangers as they face off against the vile Putties and their Boss. To win, all you have to do is reduce the Boss’s Health until it admits defeat. But along the way you must also contend with the infiltration of the Putties and any Crises that break out!”

It makes a really nice change of pace when board games allow players to team up without the need to be competitive with one another, and being a Power Ranger is the perfect reason to do just that. The game is currently available for pre-order (targeting an April 2027 release), and it can be yours for the very reasonable price of $40.00.

Power Rangers is a long-running multimedia franchise that debuted in 1993 with the TV series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Created by Haim Saban and adapted from the Japanese Super Sentai series, Power Rangers became a cultural phenomenon by combining action-packed footage from Super Sentai with new scenes featuring American actors.
