More than 750,000 people swarmed to downtown Milwaukee on Friday, Oct. 30, for the Milwaukee Brewers‘ World Series championship parade and rally, according to a Milwaukee Police Department estimate.
The celebration of the Brewers’ first World Series title in their 56-year existence drew crowds to Milwaukee’s streets for the championship parade and to Henry Maier Festival Park for the rally.
“Preliminary research shows this may have been the largest crowd for a single day event in state history,” the MPD said in a Facebook post. “Go Brewers!”
