Multiple sources in Italy claim that the Bianconeri have reached an agreement in principle with the 33-year-old, who is ready to sign a three-year contract in Turin.
Juventus expert Romeo Agresti confirms the player and the Bianconeri have already shaken hands, yet the Serie A giants must now convince Aston Villa to sell the Argentine keeper.
Agresti claims on X that Aston Villa are open to selling Martinez, but have yet to reach an agreement with the Serie A giants.

“Negotiations are needed to reduce the gap between the asking price and the offer,” wrote Agresti.
Sky Sport Italia previously reported that Juventus are pushing for a free transfer, but it’s unlikely that Aston Villa will release Martinez for nothing, as the Argentine international is under contract until 2029.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Aston Villa’s asking price is €10m, while Gazzetta claims that the Premier League side have demanded €15m.

Juventus fans seem to be excited by the potential arrival of Martinez, as thousands of them have commented on the goalkeeper’s latest Instagram post begging him to move to the Allianz Stadium.
