In her previous position as Deputy Bursar, Treasury, Ibrahim was responsible for providing professional guidance and overseeing the university’s treasury operations.
NOUN said her broad experience within the Bursary Department, combined with her familiarity with the institution’s financial systems and internal procedures, made her well suited to lead the department at this period.
The university management also expressed confidence that she would carry out the responsibilities of the office with diligence, integrity, professionalism and a strong commitment to the institution.
The appointment was approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma, with the concurrence of the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Isa Yuguda.
Meanwhile, the university continued to mourn the late Marafa, describing him as a committed and reliable officer who served NOUN with professionalism and integrity.
The institution said his contributions to its financial administration and overall development would remain appreciated and remembered.
