New York Giants punter Jordan Stout turning heads at minicamp

The New York Giants signed punter Jordan Stout to a three-year, $12.3 million contract earlier this offseason.

Stout spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens. He decided to follow former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh to New York after he took the head coaching job, and the punter should have no problem picking up right where he left off last season in Baltimore.

Stout has performed at an extremely high level through the first two days of Giants minicamp. He could quickly emerge as an underrated weapon on New York’s special teams unit this season, having earned both Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors in 2025 after a stellar year with the Ravens.

Stout has averaged 47.5 yards per punt across his first four NFL seasons. He posted a career-high 50.1 yards per punt in 2025, prompting the Giants to reward the talented booter by making him the highest-paid punter in NFL history.

Stout is expected to play a critical role on the Giants’ special teams unit over the next three seasons, and he has already excelled during minicamp.
