Nebraska commit Kaden Howard flips to Georgia Tech

Nebraska football received a decommitment from 2027 three-star wide receiver Kaden Howard. Howard made the announcement on social media Sunday night and flipped to Georgia Tech.

Howard is the 147th overall player at the wide receiver position and the 134th overall player in the state of Florida, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.

The playmaker originally committed to Nebraska on March 20, but he still kept his options open. Howard had 25 receptions for 510 yards and seven touchdowns last season.

Despite the decommitment, Nebraska’s 2027 recruiting class is still strong. The class itself ranks 19th overall in the country with 15 commitments. This includes seven blue-chip prospects with potentially more to come, per the Rivals Industry Rankings.

The Huskers still have targets in play, with 2027 four-star wide receiver Matthew Gregory also an option for the program. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next couple of days, as the Huskers look to continue to add to the class.
