Since winning the 2022-23 NBA MVP, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid’s career has been on a downward spiral.
A key reason behind that has been Embiid’s consistent battle with injuries, as the 76ers star played in just 19 games last season.
However, the 76ers’ signing of LeBron James in the offseason has seemingly injected Embiid with motivation as the big man looks in insane shape.

The NBA regular season is still far away, but Embiid is putting in the extra work to start the new campaign in arguably the best shape of his career.
It was evident in the 7x NBA All-Star sharing a carousel of images via his official X handle.
For the first time in years, Embiid looks lean and injury-free, which has led to Philly fans being unable to contain their excitement.
“Healthy Embiid is a problem for the whole NBA. League ain’t ready,” a fan claimed. While another added, “Let’s go beast! Ring on your finger soon!”
“Just stay healthy, big fella. Philly already knows what time it is if you do,” a third fan requested.
“I need to see the second coming of 2024 Embiid,” a fourth fan wrote. While a fifth fan stated, “Best sight this offseason: Joel on the floor with no knee brace.”
While a few fans were still skeptical of Embiid’s offseason transformation, the majority were elated to see the former NBA MVP back in top shape.
In fact, even LeBron James posted a story of Embiid’s images and asked the 76ers fans to ‘Trust the Process.’ Is this finally the year when the 76ers end their NBA Championship drought? Only time will tell.
