Kylian Mbappe revealed he is open to joining MLS in the future, having previously been asked the question by David Beckham.

The 27-year-old is currently looking to win his second World Cup with France, while he is yet to win a trophy with Real Madrid after two seasons with Los Blancos.

Despite winning no silverware, Mbappe has scored plenty of goals for the LaLiga giants following his move from Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe finished the 2025-26 season (including the Club World Cup) with 49 goal involvements in 47 appearances across all competitions (43 goals, six assists), one more than he managed last campaign (48).

The Frenchman is enjoying his time in the United States for the World Cup, and did not close the door on a move to MLS down the line.

“Of course, the culture is different to ours in Europe, and I have always liked that, the fact that people have ambitions with no limits, and are not afraid to say it,” said Mbappe.

“Will I come here at the end of my career? I don’t know. David Beckham often asks me. We will see, but it is a country I like and I am happy to be here.”

Plenty of key names have joined MLS over the past decade, including Lionel Messi, who led Inter Miami to MLS Cup glory last year.

The likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney and Beckham have all featured for MLS sides, while Casemiro has been linked with a move to Miami this summer.
