Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé trained with the rest of the group after experiencing some physical problems during France’s win against Morocco in the FIFA World Cup Quarterfinals. Mbappé completed the training session and will be ready to face Spain in the Semifinals next Tuesday.
The French striker has been leading France during the tournament, so having him healthy and ready to go will be crucial for coach Didier Deschamps.
Dayot Upamecano and William Saliba couldn’t train with their teammates, so it will be interesting to see if they are able to recover in time for Tuesday’s match. Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni remains ‘doubtful’ for Tuesday’s game and he’s missed France’s last two matches with a thigh injury that has been problematic for him and the French national team.
