LSU football could add another commitment to its 2027 haul. Kaden Henderson announces his college decision today at 1:15 p.m. ET live on the Pat McAfee show. The linebacker is choosing between LSU, Notre Dame and Texas A&M.
Rivals’ Industry Rankings gives Henderson a five-star rating. The outlet puts him at No. 26 nationally as well as No. 1 at his position and No. 4 out of Florida. He is a consensus top-five player at linebacker across the three main recruiting outlets.
Henderson hails from Tampa, FL and attends Jesuit High School. He took official visits to Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Miami but was in Baton Rouge with head coach Lane Kiffin during the spring.

If Henderson chooses the Tigers, he would be the first linebacker in the class and the second five-star alongside tight end Ahmad Hudson. LSU made a major jump in the rankings in the 2027 cycle with a string of commitments over the last month. Since Monday, the Tigers jumped 14 spots to No. 9 nationally. They rank No. 4 among SEC teams.
