KWASUED Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

The management of the Kwara State University of Education (KWASUED), PMB 1610, Ilorin, has officially announced the commencement of its admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

​According to an official release signed by the institution’s Registrar, Mohammed Jimada Jibril, the university will open its portal for candidate registration on June 8, 2026.

​In a move to open doors for prospective educators and professionals, the university has set a minimum UTME score requirement of 150. Management guarantees that candidates who reach this score line and meet the basic academic prerequisites are assured consideration for placement across its diverse array of technical, scientific, and arts education faculties.

​The university is accepting applications for 20 specialized degree programmes across various disciplines:

​Education, Business & Social Sciences

​B.Tech.(Ed) Electronics and Electrical

​Application Mandate for Direct Entry & UTME Candidates

​The notice notes that Direct Entry (DE) candidates are equally eligible to apply for any of the listed undergraduate programmes.

​Interested candidates must visit an accredited JAMB CBT Centre to select KWASUED as their institution of choice and ensure their O’Level results are successfully uploaded onto the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal.

​The screening portal will go live in early June. Prospective applicants are advised to visit the official university web channels to begin their application processing via portal.kwasued.edu.ng
