Jaxson Dart goes down holding his knee in pain, walks to locker room as Jameis Winston replaces him

The New York Giants got off to a great start this season, then less than one drive into their second game they had a major concern with their quarterback.

On a third down pass during the Giants’ first possession against the Los Angeles Rams, Jaxson Dart was under pressure and jumped a little bit to pass it downfield. He got hit and his knee got hit as he got sandwiched between multiple players. When he was on the ground he was holding his left knee in some pain.

Giants coach John Harbaugh came out to check on Dart and ESPN went to commercial. Dart did get up and limped off the field without any assistance. The Rams had a quick three-and-out as Dart was being checked out, and after Los Angeles punted it was Jameis Winston in at quarterback for the Giants. Dart walked to the locker room as that series began.
