Jarell Quansah could be set for an immediate Premier League return in the summer of 2027, according to a report from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.
While the England international might have only completed a permanent switch to Bayer Leverkusen last year for a reported fee in the region of £35million, Quansah could already be heading back to the Premier League.
Part of Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad over the summer and quickly becoming a key figure under the former Chelsea boss, the 23-year-old has enjoyed a stellar maiden campaign in the Bundesliga.
Alongside reported interest from Spanish icons Real Madrid, Plettenberg has suggested that an all-star Premier League duo are also chasing the nine-cap international.
Following Quansah’s permeant switch to the BayArena last summer, it was announced that the Liverpool hierarchy had included a buy-back option that is reportedly set at €70million.
With it suggested that Liverpool are already keen on bringing back their former academy graduate, Sky Germany have also reported that both Chelsea and reigning Premier League champions Arsenal are keeping close tabs on proceedings.
Gaining a reputation for his versatility and playing the full 90 minutes in three of England’s four Nations League appearances during September’s extended international break, Quansah still has four years remaining on his current deal with Leverkusen.
However, despite already being linked with a potential return to Anfield next summer, TEAMtalk did report on Thursday that Quansah has not currently keen on a Merseyside reunion.
🚨🆕 Jarell Quansah could leave Bayer 04 Leverkusen in summer 2027. Movement already happening behind the scenes.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are interested. Real Madrid are regularly scouting him.
