Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs will miss at least two weeks because of a knee injury suffered Sunday in a 111-102 road win over the New York Knicks, the team announced.
Suggs was forced out in the fourth quarter after appearing to suffer a knee injury while attempting a dunk. He was helped off the court and taken back to the locker room with just over two minutes left, finishing with four points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals in 34 minutes.
The sixth-year Suggs underwent an MRI, which revealed a mild bone bruise in his right knee. He suffered no other structural damage and will be reevaluated by the team medical staff in two weeks, which will sideline him for at least the next six games.

Suggs is averaging eight points, 5.7 assists, five rebounds and two steals while shooting 35.7% from the field in three appearances this season with the Magic (1-2). He recorded a season-high 14 points, six rebounds and six assists on Friday in a loss to Minnesota.
The 25-year-old has battled through injuries each year since entering the league as the fifth overall pick out of Gonzaga in 2021, playing 271 of 410 possible games entering this season. He played only 57 games last season due to back and knee injuries.
In addition to Suggs, the Magic are also without starter Paolo Banchero (low-grade high ankle sprain), Jonathan Isaac (knee injury management) and Noah Penda (partially torn hamstring). They conclude their road trip with two games in Toronto on Wednesday and Friday.
