The Orlando Storm (8-2) and DC Defenders (5-5) meet for the third consecutive week, this time with a trip to the United Bowl on the line at Daytona Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida, in a UFL semifinal matchup.

The game was moved to Daytona Beach because Orlando’s home stadium, Inter&Co Stadium, hosts an international soccer match this weekend. The Storm finished as the UFL’s top seed behind an explosive offense triggered by MVP finalist Jack Plummer, who led the league with 2,188 passing yards and threw 17 touchdown passes to just one interception. Chris Rowland led the UFL in all-purpose yards and Elijah Badger had 588 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, Orlando led the league by allowing only 18.6 points per game.
The defending UFL champion Defenders come in with four straight losses, including a 27-19 loss at Orlando in Week 9 and a 29-23 loss at home to the Storm in Week 10. DC lost quarterback Jordan Ta’amu to a season-ending injury in Week 8, and backups Spencer Sanders and Jason Bean have struggled throwing the ball, with Sanders going 10-for-21 for 160 yards in Week 9 and Bean throwing two interceptions in Week 10, including a 93-yard pick-six. The Defenders averaged a UFL-best 151 rushing yards per game, led by Deon Jackson, who led the league with 449 yards on the ground.
The winner advances to Friday’s United Bowl at Audi Field in Washington against the winner of the Louisville Kings-St. Louis Battlehawks semifinal game.
